Foundry 1  

Our first location is Foundry 1, located on the corner of South Street and Woodgate. This purpose-built complex is located less than a mile from Loughborough University. It can house 112 students and features a mix of accommodation options, including:

Foundry 2  

As with Foundry 1, Foundry 2 is located on the corner of South Street and Woodgate and can house up to 102 students. It sports the same spread of accommodation options and facilities, making it a comparable, if slightly smaller, alternative.

At Foundry 2, we have several room types currently available, starting with our cheapest option, the Classic En-Suite (£110 PP/PCW) and finishing with our pricier option, the Studio (£155 PP/PCW).

Student life should never be dull, and it certainly won’t be if you’re studying in Loughborough. To kick things off, the nightlife. A place well worth visiting is the Organ Grinder. Don’t be put off by the name, as this just so happens to be the name of a popular pub in the area. Here you’ll find a variety of beers, ales, ciders, spirits, and more.  

And if you’re looking to make a night of it, our student houses are not too far from Echoes Nightclub. This is one of the largest nightclub venues in the local area, serving up incredible music variety and cheap drinks. Entry costs just £2, so make sure to check it out. Alternatively, check out the Orange Tree, a local pub that offers a rather unconventional menu, including gluten-free fish and chips. 

If you’re looking for great places to eat, why not check out Peter Pizzeria – regarded as the best place to go for pizza in all of Loughborough. And if you fancy a cheeky Sunday roast, Toby Carvery is also not too far from our student houses. 

If you wish to do a spot of shopping, head on down to Loughborough Market. There’s a lot to discover here, from local produce to affordably priced clothing and even home essentials. The market is available every Thursday and Sunday and is open all day. 

For those who like their chocolate, Loughborough is home to the Chocolate Academy. This shop/ café serves up wonderfully sweet, decadent treats, such as cakes, hot chocolate, and handmaid chocolates. For the adventurous types, there’s Queen’s Park, located in the centre of town not far from our student houses. Come for a picnic, take a stroll, or check out a local museum. 

You could also try out bouldering at The Climbing Station. Here, you’ll find large surfaces and routes that change often. You can expect something new with each visit, ensuring you’re always presented with a new challenge. Once you’re done here, take a trip to Beacon Hill. From the very top, you can look out across the town and the wider Leicestershire area.
