Covid-19
Cloud Student Homes are focusing on the safety of our students and staff during this COVID-19 pandemic, and will endeavour to assist them in every way possible during this uncertain time.
Cloud have worked tirelessly to ensure that each of our accommodations are COVID-Secure and will remain open throughout the pandemic to ensure that all of our residents have the ability to focus on their studies in a safe and secure environment.
To ensure we are able to provide a safe home for our residents we have been carefully monitoring the outbreak and ensuring that each of our accommodations adhere to the Government Guidelines as they are updated, following on from this, Cloud have implemented the following procedure;
- Self-Isolation Declaration to be completed by isolating student
- Full advice provided to isolating student, led by Government and NHS
- If someone in your cluster flat is confirmed as having the COVID-19 virus and you have pre-existing medical conditions we would endeavour to move you to another isolated area in order to complete full isolation
- We are ensuring that all of our residents are safe and fully supported during their stay with us so that they can focus on what is most important to them – studying

You must ensure that you are following all Government and NHS Guidance. The Guidance is altered depending on the R Rate in the UK – please ensure that you are regularly updating yourself with the current advice.
If you are unsure then please speak to your Accommodation Team who will be able to assist you with any questions
To assist in stopping the spread of the infection;

If you feel like you need to self-isolate then you must inform your Accommodation Management Team by completing our Self-Isolation Declaration so that we can ensure that we are supporting you fully and ensuring all the correct and up to date information is provided to you.
You must
Stay in your flat/cluster unless advised otherwise by a healthcare professional.

Do not go into work, university, lectures or public areas, and don’t use public transport or taxis.
If you are having food delivered to your accommodation then please contact your Accommodation Manager in order to arrange assistance.

If there is a fire alarm in your accommodation during your isolation then please continue to follow the building evacuation plan, however when you are at the assembly point please ensure that you are a minimum of 2m away from other people.
What should I do if I get a positive COVID test?
If you have received a notification from the NHS to inform you of a positive COVID test then you must inform your Accommodation Management Team via email, phone, or StuRents. Any positive test onsite will be reported to Public Health England (PHE) to ensure transparency and up to date information can be provided.
You must then follow all advice provided by the NHS for self-isolating, and this will extend to your household (full information will be provided by your Accommodation Team).
