The Vice Chancellor of Bradford University has announced that the new academic year will begin on the 28th September 2020. The new academic year begins just two weeks later than initially planned.  In a statement to student the Vice Chancellor wrote that the University “will continue to deliver semesters with twelve weeks of scheduled learning and teaching activity and there will be no loss of student learning opportunities as a result of the change. We will finish the academic year at the same time as originally planned, and summer 2021 graduations will go ahead during week commencing 12 July 2021 as planned.”

The University is working with the Student Union to make sure that the student experience is still an enjoyable and fulfilling one. They hope to announce further information on the opportunities for leisure, sports, societies, activities, volunteering among other things as soon as possible.
